It looks like Heather Peal (candidate for County Commissioner Pct. 4) and her husband, Jake, are taking their irresponsible and possibly criminal behavior to a new level. See Heather Peal and Royger Harris Blog here.
Even though Peal has cheated Jimmy Jacobs out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, did not pay their subcontractors for the work they did, and are not honoring their construction contracts with Jacobs, they have one more dirty trick up their sleeve.
Apparently, the Peals have now formed a new business entity with a new name and logo, and have even gone as far as to have stationary and other supplies printed up for the new entity. Why the change? Well, they plan to file bankruptcy on their “old” company if Jacobs and all of the others that Peal has cheated, file lawsuits against them.
You see, the Peals do not mind spending a little bit of money if it means that they get to keep a whole bunch of money they have stolen from others.
